Who are you? Are you a telecom provider?
No. TV Package Advisors is an independent consulting service that helps Canadians compare and reduce their telecom bills. We are not a telecom provider, carrier, internet service provider, or broadcaster. We have no ownership, partnership, or affiliate relationship with any company whose plans we review. Our sole role is to provide unbiased rate comparisons so you can make an informed decision.
How is this service free? What's the catch?
There is no catch. Our audit is always free to consumers. We operate as an independent advisory service focused on helping Canadians make informed decisions about their telecom spending. You will never be charged for calling us or receiving a rate comparison.
Do you earn commissions from providers?
No. We do not receive commissions, referral fees, kickbacks, or incentives of any kind from any telecom provider. Our recommendations are based entirely on which plans offer the best value for your specific usage and needs.
Can you help with internet plans and phone plans too, or just TV?
We cover all telecom services: cable TV, satellite TV, internet and broadband, cell phone plans, prepaid mobile, and home phone. Our advisors audit everything in a single call — you don't need to call separately for each service.
What information do I need for the audit?
Ideally, have a recent bill handy showing your current plan, monthly cost, and provider name. If you don't have one, just knowing roughly what you pay each month and your postal code is enough to get started. Our advisors can look up available providers and current rates in your area.
Will you try to sell me something or sign me up?
No. We present your options and you decide. We do not sign you up for any service, process any payments, or make any changes to your account. If you decide to switch providers or change your plan based on our recommendations, you contact the provider directly. We are advisors, not salespeople.
Will you call me back or email me after the audit?
No. We do not make outbound follow-up calls, send marketing emails, or contact you after your audit unless you explicitly call us back for a follow-up question. One call, your decision, no pressure.
How much can I actually save?
Savings depend on your current plans, location, and usage. On average, Canadians we audit find over $520 in potential annual savings across their combined TV, internet, and phone bills. Some save more, some save less — we present the honest numbers either way.
